  3. When registering you will need to choose your geographic area and the hospital or service where you work
  4. If you are on a temporary contract please chose Temporary and enter the end date.
  5. For HSE staff your resources are listed on our homepage.- and in your Athens Account.

For staff in s38 or related organisations, see this page on registering and after registering, your resources will be listed in your Athens Account.

Note: For some resources, such as BMJ Learning, you will need to create an account on their platform and link it to your HSE Athens Account. Another example is Web of Science, using is to search can be done through your Athens Account. However to access additional features such as EndNote Online, you need to create an account on Web of Science when logged in via Athens.
From Hospital work sites it may be possible to access resources without logging in via Athens. This is because the resource is available on certain HSE or organisational networks.
